    Bulb planting helps anti polio campaign to...

    The Rotary Club and schoolchildren from Stonebridge Primary School planted purple crocus bulbs across Stonebridge to raise awareness of polio.

    As well as adding a splash of colour to Brent the crocus bulbs also symbolise the purple dye used on a young person’s finger to indicate they have been immunised

    CLLR.ZAFFAR DELIVERS KNOCKOUT FOR...

    Cllr. Zaffar Van Kalwala has helped save Stonebridge Boxing Club (SBC) which was on the verge of closing down due to financial problems.

    The club, which was facing an uncertain future, will stay open thanks to Cllr. Zaffar Van Kalwala who led the campaign along with SBC’s Aamir Ali and Sharon Bennet to keep the club open.

    After months of uncertainty, Stonebridge Boxing Club has been given a lifeline by their local Tesco store.

    ST. RAPHEALS’ CRUISE TO CUP VICTORY

    A Youth football team set-up by local parents to keep youngsters away from gun and knife crime has gone onto win the Hayes & District Cup.

    St Raphael's FC, who Cllr. Zaffar Van Kalwala help secure funding for to buy new team kits and training gear won the trophy with a glorious 2-1 victory over local rivals Boston Manor.
